What makes things even more difficult...Great post.<br /><br />What makes things even more difficult for those keen students is that the Singapore education system is particularly rigid. You pick your science/arts path at a very early age, you have to choose your major before entering a university, and there are not many double-major options available. So it's far more difficult to switch career paths than it is in a system like the US's.<br /><br />This, combined with the fact that Singaporeans <em>really</em> trust the govt's prognostications of what the Next Big Thing will be, leads to many people who will regret their career choices in decades to come.Ponder Stibbonshttps://www.blogger.com/profile/18387561315863534902noreply@blogger.com
